Microsoft recently removed the requirements for Digital Cable TV Service with release of Windows 7. Now with Windows 7 and compatible hardware, you can install an ATI Digital Tuner and start receiving HD Protected Cable TV content into your Media Center PC!
If you are using Vista, the following requirements still apply:
FOR VISTA PCs - The ATI Digital Cable Tuner will only operate in Digital Compatible PCs like Cannon PC Digital Cable ready Media Center PCs. Please be sure to check with your manufacture to ensure that your system is certified to operate with Digital Cable Card Tuners.
Free installation support for Cannon PC Customers. All other customers must contact their PC manufacture for assistance with installation of Digital Tuner.
Microsoft PID for activation IS NOT included. You must have a valid Digital Card Card activation PID that came with your Cable Ready PC if running WIndows Vista with Digital Cable Card Support

A Windows Vista™ Media Center PC supports up to two TV Wonder™ Digital Cable Tuners in one of five configurations: single external USB 2.0 device, single internal USB 2.0 card, two external USB 2.0 devices, two internal cards, or one external device with one internal card.
System Requirements
The ATI TV Wonder Digital Cable Tuner is designed to work with Windows Vista Ultimate and Windows Vista Home Premium based Digital Cable Compatible PCs from leading PC manufacturers. The tuner connects to an available USB 2.0 port (for external OCUR); USB 2.0 motherboard header and internal power connector (for internal OCUR).
